Because your health is irreplaceable

Using Aspen D significantly reduces health risks, because it contains fewer harmful components than traditional fossil diesel, like sulphur and aromatics. Plus, without the irritating smell, you’ll enjoy your workday again. Aspen D is always delivered in a sealed packaging, so you can be assured of a high-quality, clean, and controlled fuel.

Small machines, bigger exposure Learn more

Working with a clean diesel fuel in small machines is very important, because of their simple exhaust systems. So the cleaner the diesel fuel, the less risk for your health.

  • Less harmful to your health
  • Reduced aromatics and sulphur
  • Less irritating smell
  • Smart fuel handling
  • Quality assured
  • Excellent shelf life

For your machine’s optimum performance

Aspen D’s clean formula guarantees a reliable start and excellent machine operation, even after being left idle for long periods or at low engine temperatures. It consists of high-quality, stable fuel components for cleaner burning, leaving less deposit in the engine and fuel injectors. This results in a reliably performing engine and a reduced risk of failure. And there’s more: Aspen D can be stored 3-4 times longer than traditional fossil diesel. Without the bio diesel, and reduced risk of algal growth, you’re guaranteed year round quality.

You don't need to adjust your machine to switch to Aspen D. It gets better: if machines have been previously running on a different diesel fuel, Aspen D cleans the injectors to ensure maximum performance. And because of its special formula, you can use Aspen D all year long, regardless of temperature.

  • Maximum engine performance and power output
  • Reliable start and operation
  • Fewer deposits in the engine, cleaner fuel injectors and reduced risk of filter blocking
  • Suitable for long-term storage
  • All year quality with no bio diesel

Because you value the environment

Aspen D is not classified as hazardous to the environment because it contains fewer harmful components than traditional fossil diesel. This improves the quality of your direct environment. And not only that: changing over to Aspen D is an easy way to be climate-friendly. No need to adapt your machinery, just switch to a cleaner fuel. Because Aspen D is made of 100% renewable raw materials instead of fossils, greenhouse gases are reduced by 50-80%! Make a green choice and attract more clients.

  • Not classified as hazardous to the environment
  • Less harmful to your direct environment
  • Easy way to go climate-friendly
  • 50-80% fewer greenhouse gases compared to fossil diesel

Differences in GHS Hazard statements for diesel*

The table below shows the differences in the hazard statements, mentioned on the diesel label.

Standard diesel (fulfilling EN590)** Aspen D
H332: Harmful if inhaled -

H304: May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways

H304: May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways

H351: Suspected of causing cancer

H373: May cause damage to organs through prolonged or repeated exposure

H315: Causes skin irritation

H411: Toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects

* Hazard statements form part of the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and labelling of Chemicals (GHS).
** Standard diesel fulfilling EN590 is a standard published by the
European Committee for Standardization that describes the physical properties of all automotive diesel fuel.

High-quality, stable fuel components

Aspen D consists of high-quality, stable fuel components that are intrinsically more stable against oxidation. One of the main differences with ordinary diesel is that Aspen D does not contain bio diesel. Bio diesel is often made of RME (Rape Methyl Esters) or FAME (Fatty Acid Methyl Esters). This raw material is mixed in an amount of between 1-7% in ordinary pump diesel, to make the diesel partially renewable. However, bio diesel is highly hydroscopic and draws water into the tank, which increases the risk of bacterial growth when the engine is left idle for long periods. With Aspen D you don’t have this problem.

Smart fuel handling

With Aspen D, and the well-recognized Aspen D jerry can, you’re always assured of fuel quality. This green jerry can is well sealed, so the chance of fuel contamination is low. Of course, you will also comply with all the laws and regulations for transport with the mandatory entries on the label. However, Aspen D requires fewer hazard symbols and warnings than ordinary diesel because it contains less harmful substances for humans, animals, and nature. Last but not least: you don’t have to drive to the gas station to get diesel. You can simply buy Aspen D at the same shop where you buy Aspen 2 and 4.
